I always install ublock origin on whatever browser I use and set the tracking prevention to strict in the browser. I tried to stop using Google a few years ago and switched to DuckDuckGo, but I'm not going to stop using YouTube and my main email address that I use for important things is a Gmail account, so I just use it anyway. There's no way to even have my bookmarks in a simple list in the toolbar like in FF and Edge without an extension, and it's just VERY light on features compared to most other browsers in my opinion. I tried Brave for a while and while I love its mobile version, the desktop version is far too basic for me.
